Maja Hazell oversees the Firm’s global D&I strategy as a member of the Business Services Leadership team, reporting to the Chair and Chief Operating Officer. Following seven years of practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, Maja has led diversity and inclusion and career development initiatives for over 15 years, also working for law firms, Fried Frank LLP, as their Director of Diversity and Inclusion, and as an Assistant Dean for Career Development at Pace University School of Law. She received her B.A. in English from Yale University and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Maja is also a certified graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, an ICF-accredited leadership coach training program. She is a frequent speaker on diversity and professional development issues.
