Laura Cushing is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Loews Corporation. Laura joined Loews in March of 2016 and is directly responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. In her capacity, Laura serves as a strategic partner to the Loews Executive Leadership team and its subsidiaries.
Before joining Loews, Laura spent over 21 years at J.P. Morgan Chase. During her tenure there, Laura led several HR functions across the firm which included roles in Wholesale, Consumer Banking as well as Corporate. Prior to leaving J.P. Morgan Chase, Laura’s last role was the Head of Talent Management and Organizational Development for the Consumer and Community Banking businesses.
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island and attended the New School for Social Research. Laura currently resides in Mountainside, New Jersey with her husband and teenage son and daughter. Laura still enjoys playing soccer, outdoor activities and finds her on-going involvement with the St. Pat’s Camp for kids with cancer and the International Rett Syndrome Foundation most rewarding.
