Lieutenant Colonel Cathyrine T. R. Armandie is the Commander, Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service, Detachment 1 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. As Commander, she leads a diverse team who inform, influence, and inspire future Airmen to deliver twenty-first century airpower. She is responsible for identifying and inspiring potential recruits from across the nation by integrating, synchronizing, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
Lieutenant Colonel Armandie is from Lake Forest, California. She received her commission in 2004 from the Reserve Officer Training Corps and completed Joint Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training in 2006. Her subsequent flying assignments in the F-15E and T-1A include positions as Wing Executive Officer, Flight Commander, and Chief Flight Evaluator. Lt Col Armandie is also a Political-Military Strategist who has served as both Chief of International Agreements for Headquarters United State Air Forces Europe-United Kingdom. As a senior Combat Systems Officer she accrued more than 1,600 hours to include 450 combat hours as an F-15E Weapon Systems Officer in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
