Major Lauren M. Hamlin was born in California and has served 12 years in the Army as a Medial Service Corps Officer. She is one of the first 100 females to graduate from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She has held positions within the Army of continuous increased responsibility to include commanding a company within the Warrior Transition Brigade-National Capital Region, serving as the Chief of Operations for Public Health Command – Atlantic, and finally as the Executive Officer for 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion.
